Airfoils on school buses

First many thanks to "Apple" who found the name Airfoil for us.

This is a rear mounted airfoil for a school bus.

These are designed to keep the rear of a school bus and especially the flashing
lights clean.

They supposedly work by re-directing air from over the top of the bus to blow
down over the rear.

The airfoils I found were in the $200 -$300 price range and I suspect the bus
companies could buy a lot of brooms at this price

Cool. Wonder how well they work, especially on -20 days when the sludge and snow freeze before you can blink. :)
